Attendance was a bit sparse for this fundraising event. However, those who did turn up enjoyed a great evening hosted by Bookie Danny Spencer. Many thanks Danny for organising the racing side of the evening.
Thanks to Rita Lloyd and Jill Baker for organising the bar, the delicious Pie and Pea supper and the raffle.
A profit of £280 was made. Thanks to all who attended.

Two of our U8 team coaches have recently continued their professional development.
Craig Taylor and David Robinson are two of our Level 1 coaches and they attended a 3 hour workshop that discussed ways in which to attack and defend set plays.
At Level 1 an FA coach must complete at least 3 hours of Continued Professional Development (CPD) each year to maintain their Licensed Coach status.
Any coach wishing to find additional courses can do so at the West Riding County FA Website...
In the football clubs drive to ensure a safe and enjoyable playing environment for all, the team coaches from all teams recently completed and passed the FA Safeguarding Children training course.
Passing the course is an FA requirement for any coach to maintain their Licensed Coach status and is an Oakworth Juniors FC must have.
The qualification also has to be renewed every 3 years to ensure it remains current.
I am sure most of you have made good use of the canteen facilities at some stage this season. Rita has done a fantastic job for us there and the club have benefited greatly from her work.
However, at the moment Rita is working very hard on her own in there and requires some help.
If you would like to help out for a short period of time behind the counter serving in the Tuck Shop whilst waiting for the games to start, we would be most grateful.
