Due to the increased numbers at Soccer Camp on Saturday morning at Holy Family, we have decided as a safety matter to split the group into 2 smaller units.
The younger players (ie soccer tots) will play from 9-10am, the older (soccer camp) boys will play from 10 - 11am. Claire will attempt to contact as many parents as possible during this week to confirm which group your child will be in. if you are unsure please contact either Claire yourself or Club Secretary Richard.
These groups will continue for the next 3 Saturdays. We close for Easter on Saturday 3rd April, and will re open on Saturday 10th April at Bronte Playing Fields where we will remain until we have a summer break.
Work began this week on our new Changing Facility at Bronte Playing Fields. The initial work on the car park and building access road will take approximately 3 months before the building is erected.
On arrival at the playing fields, please follow the temporary pathway behind the orange fencing which takes you around the excavation work.
Please have consideration for the residents of Goose Cote Lane, park your car sensibly, and refrain from banging excess mud from football boots outside residents houses. Thank you
We have recieved several complaints from the residents of Goose Cote Lane over the last few weeks regarding inconsiderate parking down Goose Cote Lane by parents on match and training days.
On one occasion one of our parents became involved in a heated exchange with a resident when asked to remove his vehicle. Residents have provided the club with registration numbers of offenders which will be passed to the relevant authority should this situation continue.
The club have built up excellent relationships with the residents of Goose Cote Lane in the past few years during the consultation stages for the new building, and do not wish to see that work undone by a few inconsiderate people.
The Club trusts there will be no further incidents of this kind in the future
