Congratulations to former Oakworth Junior Tom Lee who made his 200th appearance in goal for Chesterfield last weekend against Wycombe.
Tom was given the honour of captaining the team and kept a clean sheet as Chesterfield won 2-0 to maintain their promotion push from League 2.
Tom has always supported the Club and has returned several times to help out at Presentations and Fund Raising events.

The closing date for the Balloon Race we held on our Annual Charity Day was 1st October.
The winning balloon (the balloon that travelled the farthest) was bought by Mr Brian Daniel of Harewood Road, Oakworth. His balloon travelled 242 miles to Lynford in Essex; he wins £100 cash.
The 2nd prize was won by Joseph Bairstow of Oxenhope, spookily his balloon was found in Old Corringdon in Essex, 240 miles away!!! He wins a £50 M&S voucher kindly donated by Manorlands.
We shall be making a cheque presentation for £1300 to Manorlands on 2nd November at UAK following training at 11.30am.
Thanks to everyone who contributed to a fantastic day.
Our Annual Fund Raising/Charity Day on Sunday 1st September was once again, a great success .All the teams played friendly matches against local opposition and we are grateful to Bingley Juniors, Sutton Juniors, Keighley Shamrocks, Queensbury, Bradford Park Avenue and Silsden for coming along and contributing to the day. The Charity game for the Sue Hewitt Memorial Trophy in Aid of Manorlands was played between the Club Coaches and a team from the Fire Service who ran out 5-2 winners.
The BBQ, bar, tuck shop, ,tombola, raffle and the many assorted stalls all did well and raised funds for Manorlands and the Club. The wind played havoc with the gazebo's over the stalls but once re located indoors, all went well.
All raffle winners will be contacted via phone this week: the winner of the "Guess the Bear's Name" was Ellis Jalil, who named him "Larry"
The other main attraction was the Balloon Race sponsored by Helium where we released over 400 balloons in support of Manorlands. The furthest found balloon who's ticket is returned by 1st October will win £100 cash for the owner, the 2nd prize is a £50 voucher for Marks and Spencer.
We would like to thank all friends and family of Sue, all coaches and families, all teams and supporters, Oxenhope FC for loan of kit, assorted stall holders, Hi Adventure, Jenny and all from Helium, Steve Brown and family (Barman par excellence), West Yorkshire Fire Service, The BIST Group, Cottingley for their generous donation, Matthew and Hayley and the Fund Raising Team at Manorlands, and all residents of Oakworth for your fantastic contributions.
The U/16's entertained our friends from Krokelvdalen from Norway on Tuesday evening. The visitors were playing their final match after a week long tour in the area.
In front of a large crowd, Oaks triumphed 7-1 after a terrific performance. The Norwegian lads never gave up and were rewarded with the final goal in a keenly contested match.
Many thanks to " Norway Bob" and Mick Driver for giving us the opportunity to stage the game; also thanks to Rita and Donna for preparing the food and introducing our visitors to Pie and Peas, to Andy Bentham for refereeing, and to everyone who came along to watch and support both teams.
